I don't mean to shout, but really, I'm not a Snickerdoodle. I'm just not. Snickerdoodles usually have cinnamon in them. Me? Well, cinnamon and I had a falling out. We just couldn't be together anymore. When we lived together, cinnamon would leave bark all over the place. And then I would hear other pastries talk about how cinnamon was hanging out with them. And don't get me started on cinnamon's friend, nutmeg. You can only take so much of nutmeg, you know? Sorry, I don't mean to dwell on the past. Anyway, I'm much happier now. I have browned butter and caramel undertones, and big, crunchy sugar crystals on top. And you know, people like me. They do. Really.
